  • Appearance: Bright and clear, it has medium gold color, with watery rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of green fruit of ripe apple, floral notes of honeysuckle, maturity notes of hay, kernel notes of nutty almond, autolytic notes of lees. The wine is fully developed.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium alcohol and medium body. It has medium (+) intensity flavors of green fruit of ripe apple, maturity notes of hay, kernel notes of nutty almond. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Verdicchio from Italy, demonstrating the characters of the varietal and a glimpse of how the wines can feel when it is vinified as a straw wine, it certainly has a lot of intensity on the nose, though a bit simple on the aromas. The palate is quite refreshing with again a concentration that highlights its quality, with a reasonable length on the finish. It is a bit too old.
