Still has golden straw color. Strong vanilla cream on the nose along with chiffon, flowers and mineral. Lemon chiffon, vanilla, oyster shell and mineral on the palate. Nice match with raw oysters. I would have liked the oak dialed down and some zing and a little bit more salinity. Excellent.

Chablis, Dom. Laurent, Suduiraut, Madeira (John V.'s): Golden in color. The nose has slight lemons, some flint, a fair amount of vanilla/oak on it. On the palate, lemon chiffon. Very smooth, long finish. A very nice chardonnay, not particularly anything that says where its from (if that matters).

Drunk months ago, and only remember it being excellent Grand Cru Chablis and rating it Outstanding overall. No issues with premox or being tired.
