Dry and unique flavors. A bit less velvety and viscous than most merlots I’ve had. Good oak, and of course fruits/berries. I’d buy it again several times for $13 or so I spent on it. Held up well to time, and should be good for a while longer.

medium/dark red with purple hue. plum and other dark fruits in nose. soft, fruity sweetness, medium(-) acidity, supple tannins, a little woody. short finish with a little vanilla hint. easy drinking, good to price (NZ$13).
it turned worse obviously in the next day: sour, coarse tannins, hot in throat. need to drink quickly after open.
