There are at least a dozen wines at TJs at the same price point that are better than this. Didn't realize until I got it home that it was non-vintage. It definitely seems like something that was glopped together from whatever leftovers were on hand.

(13.4%) Surprisingly low ABV for a Trader Joe’s wine of this type coming out of Paso Robles. I couldn’t find any hints of the blend percentages but guessing it is Syrah in nature (though I am more likely to be embarrassed than to be right) as you get bigger than expected overripe fruits that turn slightly medicinal on the mid-palate turning a touch tart on a short finish. This one is “just” okay (which for $6 isn’t terrible); nothing offensive here but nothing redeeming either.

OK, maybe once in a while. Not missing anything if you pass.
