Has a nose similar to Sherry. Nutty and hint of VA. On the palate it is very salty, also much cleaner than I expected. Finish lasts for what feels like an hour, but I'm sure that's not correct... Ginger, tumeric, candied apricot, so much going on it's difficult to pin-point. This wine is dry, but could work with a variety of foods, even things with a little sweetness.
Interesting style that is not for everyone, but I found very enjoyable

Kermit The Importer (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA): Rich and pungent on the nose with oxidative notes of dried fruits, raisins, dates, and preserved lemons. This is very interesting on the palate with heady savory notes of dried fruits in a bone dry complex style. I imagine this would be quite a polarizing wine with its wild dry sherry like style. 88?

France Trip 2019; 9/9/2019-9/23/2019 (France): Rancio style wine left to age for two years in barrel without topping up. Made from Grenache, both Gris and Blanc.
