Dark to medium purple with solid rim. Earthy black cherry and blueberry with green notes and cedar. Pallet is black cherry and green tobacco with good acid and fine tannins. Medium long finish. Day 2 has more perfume of the berry and smoother.

Dark red to purple with aromas of red fruit/berries with some oak and menthol/alcohol notes. It was rich, jammy and had some oak flavors. Medium finish....most of the alcohol has mellowed out of it.

Jammy and juicy nose with a bit of menthol and smoke. Raspberry/red fruit, dark chocolate, and some oak but not overpowering on the palate. Lacking a bit of body but still excellent. Medium finish, fairly smooth but still has some tannins. Enjoyed with pan seared steak. Drink within the year - great QPR!

On the fruity sweeter side of Malbecs, but we enjoyed it.
