Decanted for 1.5 hours with some sediment. Very expressive nose with dark red fruit, spice, pepper and a touch of smoke. The medium bodied palate followed the nose but with more spice, more pepper, some blue fruit and a touch of earth. The acidity outran the fruit by a bit, and any tannins or oak were completely integrated. Probably won't improve but should hold for some years with the possibility of some loss of fruit. Definitely needs air up front.

At the tasting room. Lovely nose red fruit and spices. Great fruit and white pepper, but the finish is a little short.
