Brownish color. Orange zest, mineralsk, intense wine. Much fresher in the mouth that what should be expected from the color. Some enjoyment, but then obviously not right.

Deep gold color, when swirling it seems that the wine has a rather frozen or gooey quality, similar to a Sauternes, however, this is not due to residual sugar, as this is a dry wine with, I would guess, less than 4gr res sugar.
In the nose lime, brioche, hints of butter and a saline note, after some time a whiff of green banana and then more intense lime and a bit of bitter orange zest. Like a Heymann Löwenstein 2006 Uhlen R but with less sweetness and more acidity.
On the palate, absolutely marvelous, oily, buttery mouthfeel, brioche, lime and apricot with some chalky undertone. Unfortunately, this was my last bottle. Will try to buy more, as this wine should hold easily another 10+ years

Fortsatt ungdommelig, typeriktig meursault med gul frukt, smør, rikelig burgundparfyme og fat. Svær i munnen, balanserer bra. Økende kompleksitet med luft, da også mer mineralsk. Flott vin

+ The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like brioche and lime. It tastes like apricot, grapefruit, toast, forest floor, mineral, bready, leesy and hazelnut. The body is full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity. next bottle in two years

Typical Meursault notes of butter and brioche. Precise and vibrant. Excellent.
