  • Bordeaux 1993 @ my place (Netherlands): Brownish red in colour. Some alcohol in the nose, which also showes coffee, forest floor, decaying leaves and milkchocolate. On the palate this is agreeable, which was a positive surprise for such an old wine of mediocre pedigree (with all due respect...). Charming impressions of old barrels, tiny red currants, blood and fresh meat. Slightly aggressive acidity in the aftertaste, but hey, I'm not complaining. 15/20
