Drank from Bin East 18. Dinner with Mike and Aline. Purchased 9/11/2012 from winery after Karla move to SLO year #3. $40, club discount $32. Full butterscotch nose. Sparkling medium yellow. Dry medium body butterscotch middle and light even soft finish with gentle oak. Still great 10 year old Chardonnay. 9/10.

Get Together at the Crib with the Farmhouse Crew (Chez Moi, Talman Avenue): Absolutely Napa Chardonnay. Sure, not quite as overdone as some in this price range. Certainly some excellent tropical and citrus fruit coupled with dark nutty elements. The malo is present and could be a little more restrained but I think that most of America would really enjoy this wine if looking for quality Chardonnay at this price point…at a grocery store.

Vivid yellow color, perfume of white flowers, peach and apricots. Note of toasted oak. Lively acidity. No heaviness evident. Touch of minerals. Bright, juicy fruit. Oak well integrated. Nice effort.

paired this with a spicy seafood gumbo and it went absolutely terrific. it's rich enough to stand up to the spice and yet not so buttery as to interfere with the seafood flavors. I don't think of myself as much of a white wine drinker but I really like this wine.

Nice acidity, well balanced with oak. Caramel notes. Some fruitiness, but not too much. Limited minerality. Very light nose.
