  • The third bottle in my Cellar Tracker list and I'm sad to see this go. It was the best of the 3... Go figure, but it seemed perfectly at its' peak 3 months later. As my other reviews state it is the seductive Sonoma style, this one a bit more rich in structure with black cherry and other dark fruit flavors extractions. It seemed to have more of the pencil/cedar notes. Odd for a Pinot it seems but Eric the winemaker at Roadhouse has so many tricks up his sleeve, and he surprises me constantly.

  • This is a nicer bottle than the last one I opened from my cellar. Rated it 2 points higher for that. This is done in the "pretty" Sonoma style as I call it. It's a lighter and more fruit forward style than other RH releases. Not much terroir on the nose or in the structure, but some nice cherry cola notes a hint of raspberry and a nice mouth feel not a huge finish but it's there.

  • The Roadhouse crew can rock the Pinot and this is no exception. Done in what I call the "seductive and pretty" Sonoma style. Big cherry cola notes and mouth fee,l lovely candied finish with a bit of earthiness there. Not much terroir on the nose and not too multi layered like some other Roadhouse bottles I've had, but a solid and classic Sonoma Pinot and I'm always happy when I uncork an RH bottle.

  • Wonderful Pinot with big fruit on the nose. Great example of a Russian river style. Lots of cherry, cola and pencil filling mouth.

  • This is what they mean by an over the top Cali Pinot Noir. but I can't quite get over how chock full of long lasting flavor it is... a little syrupy to be sure, (like a Martinelli Pinot) but the taste goes on and on... This wine really took me out of my comfort zone, but in a good way... remarkable...
