Deep garnet, nearly opaque, medium+ body. Restrained nose of dark cherry, hints of raisin, and baking spices. On open it was a mess, with a palate of bland raisin notes, dry and very little fruit character, with a short acidic finish. After almost an hour, aromas opened up, with more black cherry which was matched on the palate. Still very dry but more character emerging. After another hour though it was fading into flatness. Clearly its best years are behind it.

This really improved with air! Nose is bright sweet cherry, cinnamon, apple cider, spices and grand Marnier. Mid palate is medium weight yet still mouth coating with repeat of previous notes but much more intense and long juicy finish.
-- Consumed at at cellar temp: 60°-65° F. Friends don't let friends drink red wine at room temp!

Delicious. Loving the SLH Pinot's these days. Small production (270 cases), medium ruby color, big aromatic expressive nose of bing cherry with notes of leather and blueberry on the palate. Perfectly balanced tannins and acidity levels. Drinking beautifully right now.
