  Colore brillante da "arredamento", porpora con riflessi rubino-violacei, molto elegante, naso fruttatissimo, abbastanza complesso di ciliegie mature con accenti piacevolmente erbacei, corpo sorprendentemente quasi abboccato, ma anche molto sapido (la freschezza è forse il dato primario assieme al corpo, medio robusto), manca un po' di lunghezza e personalità nel finale, ma i volumi alcolici sono benissimo gestiti, tannino presente ma equilibratissimo, quasi sexy. Fanno capoino degli speziati ancora giovani in liquirizia e pepe. Insomma sembra una versione italiana,"piaciona" ma molto meno banale, dei rossi lievemente abboccati del nuovo mondo, di solito riservati a palati un po' troppo sciroppofili. Rapporto q/p notevole, perfetto su una pizza con salume o con fritti leggeri, vino onestissimo e pulitissimo.

  Quality producer with a quality daily drinker - nothing flashy or memorable here but an honest wine with a savory spice flavor and aromatic profile, with hints of cola and mushrooms.

  Had this a about a week after the 2007. This was big, massive, with huge black fruits, bigger tannins, huge mouthfeel, and some unbalanced alcohol. I think it needs 2-3 years to calm down.
