  So sad this is our last bottle of Sawyer wine. Really loved the winery, wine, and Sawyers. Great memories.

  If you like California Cabernet and Merlot based wines, then try this beauty. This wine is very smooth with a great mix of fruit. You can consume this wine now, or hold on to it for a few years.

  A blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, this is a dark, rich and layered wine which displays savory herb, black currant, blackberry, cedar and anise aromas. It is full-bodied, round, moderately tannic and packed with ripe black fruit on the palate. The alcohol (listed as 14.1%) is seamless and the middle palate is solid. Lengthy and smooth on the finish, this leaves the taster wondering how this wine has flown under the radar. If you can find it, you will not be disappointed by this well-priced offering. Drink now-2020.
