Purple with brown hints around the edges of the glass. Smells a bit jammy and tastes of cherry at end. Missing the black pepper/spice bite on the palate.

This was a very pleasant surprise. We have a very tasty combination of powerful, typical Pinot flavors and aromas Chilean style. The color is dark plum, with more intensity than typical. The nose is almost complex with floral, earthy, fruity, and mineral components. When it hits the palate, we have black cherry fruit first, but all kinds of secondary stuff like charcoal, evergreen, wet tree bark and fresh plowed black dirt. In a good way, one of the most spicy Pinot Noir's I have ever tasted. Slightly more than medium bodied. Gritty little tannins. Civilized use of oak. Not your typical light bodied Pinot.

Non-blind. Had immediately @Hjalle. Impression: Very good. Deliciously fruity and almost "getting there" as far as the elegant PN-expression is concerned. Not at all clumsy. This is not my favorite style of wine, but if you like delicious PN to accompany your food, this is a great QPR choice.
