Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Very light in color. The nose was typical perfumy wuerzgarten. Some alcoholic notes, grassy, a bit like the freshness of asphalt after a rain. Texture was velvety. Taste is also rather typical for wuerzgarten: floral, some apple, very fresh. The wine seemed a bit off balance, which could be blamed on the fact that it had just travelled for quite a bit and not settled down yet. It is also still very young! Initially sweet but then acidic notes come in that are at this point too strong. Fresh and refreshing, with a slight bitter note towards the finish. Should be given another year.
