  Calcareous consistently produces solid offerings, and this one is no exception. The wine holds up well, wonderful mouth feel, perfectly ripe bing cherries, just the right amount of tartness and a pleasing finish with ever so subtle teak in the background.

  Not a big Pinot Noir fan, so that may have impacted the Rating. However, it was very enjoyable for a light bodied wine. May be the best Pinot we have ever had, but still not close to Calcareous Syrah, Grenache, or Meritage.

  Big beefy Pinot, very different from many Cali Pinots I've had. Interesting herbs or sage on the nose, medium-dark fruit rather than light and airy fruit. A delicious wine from Calcareous, as always.
