Beautiful stage of life, integrated, some bright fresh blueberry highlights and cassis aroma's remain, a lick of mint that's counteracted by an autumnal character on the palate. A crackle of acidity keeps it lively and draws out for a pronounced finish. Very good.

Not decanted (screw cap). Great aroma of blackberry, mulberry, blood plums and flint (actually plenty more going on). Mid weight palate with liquorice allsorts and finishing with very chewing tannins that evolve from the outer to a singular very fine (not short just subtle) finish. There is a wonderful floral/petal note from start to finish. This is a great wine to drink now.

Started collapsing in the decanter after about 3 hours, luckily we only had a glass each left. A very upfront wine, perfume, floral and uplifting. It smells beautiful. However it is all about the front palate and roof of the mouth, unfortunately the finish rather falls off a cliff. I still enjoyed this, but drink up now if you have any.

1h decant. Medium garnet to the rim, nose with rasberry and some dark fruit, Beautiful, creamy palate with chocolate and great balance. Very fine tannins, medium to full body but not overly alcoholic (14%) or fruity. A subtle finish, would score higher if it was a bit longer. 91-92.
