The cork was damp and starting to crumble. We enjoyed it as our third glass of wine, but it seemed a bit too tart so perhaps better with food and some aeration.

Much better on the 2nd day; takes on more depth and richness. Not as complex or engaging as some brunellos I've had. This is a more simple, fruity style.

Served with pasta with anchovies and walnuts. A full-bodied and ell balanced sangiovese. Enjoyed as much as an Italian Chianti.

Definitely not life changing, but very good and complex. It was the only 100% Sangiovese we saw on our trip, so we had to buy it.
