From wine club notes, 2013: “The 2010 Sangiovese is a big ripe and satisfying vintage. The wine is balanced and complex, the full bodied ripened of this wine removes all the thoughts of finesse or delicacy. the nose is baked cherry pie with spice notes. Blackberry and cherry flavors are the most intense flavors in the mouth, with a bit of anise and nutmeg in the finish. There is great structure and nice acidity so it will pair well. Enjoy immediately and 3-6 years if cellared correctly.”

Futures purchased at barrel tasting in 2011 just released June 2013. A decent Sangio but very little finish. Will have to see how it lays down for awhile.
