  Typical pinot nose with red fruits a plenty, but also with woodier notes, almost like the undergrowth of a pine forest. The palate starts off with red fruits, but transitions quickly to secondary flavours of cedar and tobacco. The tannins on the finish are very fine and integrated, with good acidity. However, there is a bit of a bitter note that lingers, probably from the oak aging. No use in keeping this any longer.

  Nice pinot nose, with cherries and a touch of chocolate. The palate adds just a tiny bit of herbs. The tannins are fairly present, though not too cloying thanks to a good amount of acidity. It doesn't have the finesse of a Bourgogne pinot, but it isn't overdone as well. Nice compromise.
