(Wente Vineyards Chardonnay Eric's) Bright light yellow color; appealing, tart lemon, lightly floral, tart peach nose; tasty, poised, tart lemon, tart apple, mineral palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish (13.1% alcohol; 3.6 pH; no malo, no sur lie)

Aromatic, acidic and quite long. Like a good chablis, or chablis 1er cru.

My fave of the Wente chardonnays and least 'cougar juice' CA Butterball-oak bomb.
Stainless steel fermented, likely no ML, but not as austere as some 'naked' chards can be.
Color: Pale Yellow
Nose: Tropical fruit, green apple
Mouth: Crisp and refreshing lots of tart green apple, pear, good body, nice acidity.
Like to see/try more of these small lots from Wente, shows promise.
