Leiden last event in 2018: Dark fruit nose and taste. Round tannins, great concentration, medium+ finish. Bachelet kind of wine.

Joyaux en Côte de Nuits (Marsannay/Gevrey-Chambertin) - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Maison de Marsannay): Tasting of barrel sample. Perfumed and spice-drive nose with lots of fresh black fruit. Palate shows incredible concentration and power from start-to-finish, yet great balance and nuance. Long and energetic. Tasted just before the also great 2009 l'Ancestrale.
