Drinking well at ten years, lots of development since April 2015. The smoky Merlot seems to dominate this blend: black cherry, red plum, powdered cocoa, dried baking spices, savory dried green notes, and charred earth. Grainy tannins lurk in the background with medium acidity. There seems to be enough fruit and structure to carry this forward for another 2-3 years. Given the disappointing vintage, I was somewhat expecting this to be fading, but it seems to be in a good place.

Still holding good fruits; blackberry, cherry, currant, hints of cocoa, tannins are integrated and probably needs to be consumed if you're still holding a bottle.

My last bottle and it seemed better than the previous 2. It's clearly new world with flashy fruit and silky tannins. There's some earth and a touch of tar. I suspect bottle variation here. Pleasant enough, but I would not buy again at the low $28 WTSO price.
