Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is deep ruby in color, with fading rims and legs. Nose: Clean, with medium intensity aromas of black fruit of cassis, blackberry and plum, oak notes of vanilla and toast, dried fruit of prune, kernel notes of chocolate, maturity notes of savory. The wine is developing. Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium tannin of ripe and velvety texture, medium (+) alcohol, full body and medium (+) intensity flavors of black fruit of cassis, blackberry and plum, oak notes of toast, dried fruit of prune, kernel notes of chocolate. The wine has a medium finish. Conclusion: Good quality Washington State Bordeaux blend with plenty of ripe black fruit characters on the nose, showing nice intensity but a bit simple on the aromas, the wine has a juicy palate, with robust integrated tannin, vibrancy and good concentration on flavors, with decent complexity and length on the finish. It is ready to drink now and not meant for further ageing, and can keep for another 1-2 years.

Found this for under $10 and snapped up several cases. Elegant and restrained--great lean fruit. An antidote to New World Big. Fills front and mid palate, and fades gradually in finish--
