Still going strong. Fresh and balanced aromas of dried wild raspberry, citrus rind, and potpourri. Focused and medium bodied on the palate, with layers of cool red berry fruit over saline and chalky minerals. The finish lingers with tart cranberry acidity, savory dried herbs, and violets. Quite delicious, and likely will continue to improve in the short term.
Keith's note nails what makes this such a striking, remarkable rosé; it's bright, delicate and refreshing as any good rosé should be, but the textural refinement and sense of polish here are something else. It's absolutely delicious to drink with gentle florality, fresh strawberry fruit and saline notes on the back end, and the elegance and texture here have me coming back after each sip.
Vivid and interesting nose of tart, cool red fruit, mint, spice, and savory herbs. Medium bodied and similar in profile on the palate with waves of red berries, morning dew, and chalky minerals. Fresh green herbs, and tart cranberry, and orange rind complicate the lengthy finish. Really superb rose, with a few years of cellar potential.
Fresh red berries and flowers, good acidity, fully dry. Fairly long finish with some stony minerality and something vaguely like raw snap pea coming out. Refreshing and delicious, with some complexity too.
