  • A fascinating foray into Pinot Noir Précoce. Brought this back after chatting at great length with Johann about the varietal. Shows ash, sweetness typical of Spatburgunder but very little chocolate or heat that can mar Spatburgunder. An interesting chewy green funkiness as well which adorns a slight plummy character. Wears its alcohol well on the palate.
