This is just the regular bottling, not reserve. I held this 2001 because it was SUCH a killer vintage, and all the other '01s I've opened the past couple of years have held up like champs and showed very well--like drooling over/ecstasy well. Unfortunately, this one did not have quite such a stellar showing. It wasn't over the hill, but I think the age is starting to creep in. I don't have any specific recollections, so that's not a good sign. Drink up.
