Nose of Chocolate, Oak and Menthol Palate was boozy with some underlying fruit, predominately cherries and raspberries Finish is long with notes of vanilla, strong tannins and still very spicy

Opened with notes of cedar, earth with underlying subtle frutiness, mineral edge. Palate very structured and precise. Austere now, but shows huge promise. Fell apart after a couple hours, extremely volatile and unstable, guessing this needs a few years of age yet before it should be touched again. If you have any of this in the cellar, is worth the wait. Will assign a score to my next bottle.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of aspirin, white pepper, plum and a hint of currants. Flavors of plums, berries and cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.
