  This deep crimson wine shows nice aromas of bramble fruits, minerals and lavender. It is medium-to full-bodied on the palate, with lively acidity, medium fine-grained tannins, well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.6%) and flavors in line with the nose. The middle palate is solid and the crisp acidity persists throughout a medium-length finish. Those who desire ultra-ripe versions of this grape will be disappointed, but for those who like a more refined, structured Pinot, it is very nice. I am in the latter group, and accordingly give this one two thumbs up. Drink now-2018.
