Pop and pour, consumed over 3.5 hours. Great from the jump, nice red fruits and some complex spice on the finish. No reason to wait on this, but I suspect some more time will bring out the complexity. Really nice wine, especially in the context of what red burgs sell for these days...

This has bouquet of mixed crushed berries and fresh cut herbs. Like so many 2010s, the palate is singing and seamless. Grand Cru concentration. Youthful, round, plush fruit that is vibrant into a dancing, bright finish of berry, spice, herb and a hint of earthiness. Drinking so well with upside from here as it hits a peak window in another decade.

Bright nose of red berry, game, and coffee. Featherweight texture, lively acidity, minimal tannic structure. Pierre Guillemot's 2010 Corton Le Rognet et Corton is pretty and understated. I'd drink these over the next few years.

Decanted for an hour. Crystal garnet. Nose is dark fruit, oak spice, black pepper, all well balanced. The taste is also well balanced, with red fruit, tannins, and tobacco all present. Some tasters thought it was really powerful, but it struck me as more balanced and even. I liked it, but it didn't stand out as much as others for me, perhaps because it was so balanced and the fruit wasn't really forward.
