The 2010 Kistler Cuvee Natalie has actually improved since our last tasting two years ago. Medium deep ruby color. Cherries and currants with hints of minerality and floral in the nose. Still rich flavor with lots of deep red fruits, raspberries and cherries. Perfectly balanced and medium bodied with nice complexity and a long smooth lingering finish. I opened this because all of the "expert" reviews I have read say drink by 2023 or earlier and now I wish had more. This will easily go two to three more years with good storage. A very pleasant surprise!

Popped and poured. Very pretty floral nose. Medium bodied, black cherry and herbs. Very elegant and subtle for Kistler. Good acidity. Drinking at peak.

Glad we held this bottle a bit longer. 2010's are holding well beyond drink-by date predictions. Great depth from start to long finish. Black cherry for sure but I get a bit of a pomegranate-like fruit tart mid-palate.

Medium red color. Aromas of black cherries, minerals, licorice and wood spices. Ripe, fully-integrated fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length. Complex and long on the palate. Still very fresh and intact at 11 years of age.

Medium deep ruby color. Cherries and currants in the nose, with mineral and floral hints. Flavor like the nose. Well balanced and a long finish.
