Working through bottles I received as a gift. Color is black as hell's mouth. Typical Syrah meaty, savory nose. Starts off with strong berries on palate, but then thins out a bit to an uninteresting finish. Definitely better options from France.

APPEARANCE: med sediment, dark Garnet, opaque 4/4; BOUQUET: Berry fruit, mild wood, dark fruit, mild earth 10/14; TASTE: med. body, Red fruits, med. finish, mild plum & raisin 12/18; PREFERENCE: decent bottle, fruity but aging, heavier than some CA Syrah, did not inspire 1/4
