Color: deep dark purple with viscous legs Nose: medium to intense complex dark red fruits and berries: prunes; raspberries Body/flavor: full bodied; again complex dark fruits and berries; needed time to open after decanting; constant change in the glass. Aftertaste: lingering, warm dark fruit.
A 14 year-old bottle... just terrific for $20!

Garagiste selection. 13.5% Blend of Cabernet Franc; Malbec; Cabernet Sauvignon
Color: dark purple/ruby. Nose: medium intensity. A little bottle stink on opening and decanted. Excellent dark fruit and berry nose. Some alcoholic aromas Body/flavor: medium - full body. Great mix of dark fruit and berries. Somewhat alcoholic and hot. Tannins still apparent. Aftertaste: lingering
Over several hours, the wine mellowed. May still have time... acid structure and tannins argue for additional aging. Pretty decent for a $20 Pomerol

Drank another about a week ago and it was great. No formal notes, just a deep and ripe mid-weight Bordeaux with nice earthy character and plummy berry fruit. Very nicely balanced and drinking well. Good time to drink.

Really fabulous QPR. lots of sediment, ready to go, good fruit. Sorry for lack of detailed notes, but just lovely wine for cheap. Wish I had more.

Better than expected for the price. Not much on the nose, but good fruit on the palate. Mature and very good if not profound good QPR.
