Amazing value for money. Gloriously expressive shiraz, distinctly Australian, and to an extent, distinctly Barossa, but it's not a fruit bomb. The nose is very complex and full of character. At first it's dominated by this classic eucalyptus character, but more chocolate, raspberries and cloves come out as the wine opens up. The palate is generous and thick, with savoury smooth tannins leading to a velvety finish.
