Tasting at the winery: In the glass: Clear ruby. On the nose: Rosebushes, light spice. In the mouth: light mouth feel, decent concentration, cherries on the tongue, tiny spice on the light dry finish. Decent representation of a Willamette Valley pinot, but there are much better examples out there for less. Retail: $45.00

Wine Blogger's Conference 2012- Oregon Wines; 8/15/2012-8/18/2012 (Portland, OR): Notes of mushroom, tea and cherry on the nose. Savory cherry-apple fruit palate with earth, black tea and hints of menthol. Round and fine tannins and a full finish. Charms with its uniqueness. Would be interested in how this ages.
