As you would expect a 13 year old wine to have a little mocha choc to the nose the fruit is sweet and ripe full bodied with soft chalky tannins fruit slides down your throat and the sweet fruit just keeps on going suggest you open and leave to breath for 3-4 hours great wine drink in next 4-5 yrs

Decanted for an hour and enjoyed with a brisket and some lovely sides. Was a solid drop, but expected some more punch from a Coonawarra Shiraz. I have one more bottle, gonna give that one a few more years and see if it opens up more

I must have had one of the better bottles. Definitely needs a decant & has many years to go. Drank over a few nights and improved each day. Medium weight, tannin in check & a sophistication of flavour that changes throughout each sample. Deep berry, oaky vanilla, slightly dry finish to round out the richness. Combined with pasta and meatballs was divine. I look forward to the next one in a few years time.

Still had loads of time left, & needs a good decent! Effortless balance with a big rich meal.

Touch syrupy, but that was what I was looking for tonight. Youthful, nice medium bodied. Modern shiraz.
Will it gain character with time? It’s different from a Barossa shiraz but I don’t spot any Coonawarra regional character.
13.5%, screwcap
