Really like this dry, limestone-laden Pinot. Funky, earthy nose of old vine raspberries, herbs, and wet granite. Not much fruit until 45 min - dried cranberries, hints of Manhattan cherries and bitters - but the finish is outstanding, supple, pure, puckery, long, and delightful. Went great with a salmon feast and on its own.

Great little Burgundy QPR. Lot's of funk, dried cranberry, slate, and dirt on the nose and mid-palate. Finish is tangy and juicy and lasts longer than one would expect. Perfect house French Pinot from Kermit Lynch.

Consistent with previous notes. Heavy dose of limestone crushed rocks with ripe raspberries, blackberries, and summer flowers. Drink now-2020.

Smoothing out quite a bit. Wonderful floral nose with anise and lavender starting to emerge as well. Paired perfectly with broiled salmon.

Still tight to open up, but overall consistent with previous notes the past two summers. Drink 2016-2020.
