A nose of cherry and spice, medium garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, plum, earth and spice on finish, average plus at best. www.winelx.com

Much in line with notes on 3/22/13 but more soft and subtle. Just a solid Sonoma Coast Pinot that can be had on a budget. Last bottle was better and more pronounced but this last bottle of mine still garnishes a solid 90 points.

PnV. Very clean cork that was barely stained. Medium burgundy in color but very translucent. Very aromatic nose of forest floor, strawberries, and cola. After sitting in a decanter for about an hour, a hint of flowers and orange peel surfaced. Full on the palate with notes of cinnamon and cherries. Gaining complexity as it is exposed to more air. Tasted in both Riedel Vinum and Vivant Burgundy glasses…definitely prefer the Vivant. The Vinum makes this a masculine brute without much stuffing. The Vivant makes this a full yet elegant wine, highlighting nuances that aren’t present in the Vinum.
This is currently on sale for $15 at my local wine shop. Initially on the PnV in the Vinum glass, I didn’t think it was worth going back for any more. However, after some air in the Vivant glass, its definitely worthy of a few more bottles. I recommend giving this at least an hour of air before serving…and serve it in a glass with a big open bowl.

This is a steal for $15 from Cindy wine as part of a two pack. Medium bodied with just the right balance of fresh cherry, earth, and acidity to make it interesting. Very good!

Nose: Very Sonoma Coast with aromas of forest floor, tree bark, and cherries with minty hints. Palate: Although a bit thin this Pinot has really nice flavors of cherries, hints of raspberry, and solid minerality. This is a well made, nuanced and feminine Pinot that for $20 on sale is a good QPR.
