($23) Lightly colored, nose of tomatoes…suspect heavily Grenache based. Medium bodied, strawberry, zesty fruit. Moderate acidity which kicks up in the finish and takes on a lemony quality. Can't say I am particularly impressed. Is this supposed to make me want to taste some of the Rayas Chateauneuf? Come on, this light weight thing is barely worth bottling. Highly disgruntled

Rayas Tasting @ EOS (San Francisco): Light red in color, with red fruits on the nose. Soft and fruity on the palate. Some sage and black pepper hints. Low in tannins and ready to drink. Nice bistro wine.
