Above expectation for this not best year in Judean Hills, the winter was warm, spring and autumn too short and more of 120 days extreme heat in summer. In spite this the wine's fruits aren’t overripe (wonder) but nonetheless alcohol is too tangible. Full body, mature ruby color. The raspberry on short first attack following up on black and blue fruits aroma combined with herbal and peppery notes. Dominant plum palate complements by lingering hot but juicy finish. Rich, saturated and complex, a bit loses balanced because unhidden alcohol, still refreshing acidity and firm tannins. Food friendly, tasted as with medium rare veal entrecote as with Saint Maure and Brie cheeses. Serve 15º - 21º. Open one hour ahead. Drink now and next four years.

On the nose - ripe fruit, deep and delicate. Round and smooth in the palate. Elegant.

Best after breathing an hour. Needs substantial food. Goes well with duck confit.
Aged 20 months in oak btw.
