Well we've identified the new wine consultant at the lcbo as a contrarian indicator. Opaque purple. Sage dominated spicy nose with some cedar and raisin. The palate is fruit juice with little acidity and almost no tannin. Photo finish! (Which is much more exciting at the track!) I'd drink (or return this) now as the there isn't enough structure to age. This would be an excellent wine for a new wine drinker that was experimenting with white wine but hadn't developed a palate for structure red wine. 5+12+14+6=87

A friend opened this last night. No need to decant. Nose: baking spices, raisin, baked cherry, dried herbs. Palate: raisin, herbs, hint cedar, baking spices. Short finish, very low acidity, low tannins for a cab sauv.

92 still excellent. Cherry nose everywhere. Perfectly ripe and round. Unexpected pleasure.

Not bad but expected more for the price point. Very quaffable and easily drunk. Nothing to write home about though.

Second bottle double decanted which did open it up but made finish almost non existent. There won't be a second press for these cowboys
