  • Appearance: Bright and clear, it has medium amber color, with legs.
    Nose: Clean, with pronounced intensity aromas of citrus fruit of lemon and orange marmalade, oak notes of pine, floral notes of honeysuckle, maturity notes of honey, stone fruit of apricot and Japan plum, dried fruit of raisin, kernel notes of toasted almond. The wine is developing.
    Palate: Luscious with high acidity, the wine has low alcohol, with full body and pronounced intensity flavors of citrus fruit of lemon and orange peel, floral notes of honeysuckle, maturity notes of honey, stone fruit of Japan plum and apricot, oak notes of vanilla. The wine has a medium (+) finish.
    Conclusion: Very good quality Alsace SGN Pinot Gris, with the wine showing a very concentrated nose of high complexity, and a palate that is very sweet but balancing well with the acidity. It has richness beyond words, and the equally impressive flavors highlighting the botrytis characters while at the same time giving a clean, well-defined structure and not feeling any cloying, ending with a long finish. Ready to drink now, the wine can further age for another 15-20 years.
