Rubi purple color. Nose is spicy with black pepper and anise on top of some blackberries.Full bodied and well balanced, very nice sweet, chewy tannins and a savoury finish. Perfect pairing with grilled filet with black pepper.

This 'average' wine takes a few minutes open to get some of that distinctive spiciness of flavor and finish characteristic of the shiraz. It has a muted nose, but some fruit flavor is evident after some time open. This is a decent basic wine that is a reasonable value at six bucks. Not a bad choice for an easy drinking red 'table' wine.
