PnP, the nose is blueberry, blackberry, cloves, very rich. The palate is more muted blueberry with vanilla, the tannins are moderate and the acidity is noticeable but not overpowering. As the air worked on it the clove elements in the nose began to show up in the palate as well. With a medium finish this took me by surprise as to how much I enjoyed it, more bottles are in my future.

Deep purple color. Very earthy, damp forest floor nose, along with blackberry, plum, roses, cinnamon, cloves. Full bodied, high tannins, medium+ acidity and alcohol (14%). Great QPR. Would be perfect with earthy dishes, but it's not bad by itself or with light fare.

Similar notes, a solid weeknight wine.

OK, a little thin on the finish but a decent bottle.
