  • Color: purple
Nose/palate: dark fruits, cedar, leather, earth
Structure: medium plus acidity, medium plus tannin, medium plus body
    Alcohol: 15.1%

First impression was "this is a hot mess". Fruit was overbearing...just overripe and almost raisin-y. There was a bit of sourness as well. Started coming together after an hour of air in the glass and got some savory notes. I'm familiar and a big fan of Tor wines, but perhaps this was just an advanced bottle.

  • RICH FRUIT IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR, BLACKBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES, CURRANTS, SPICE, AND A TOUCH OF CHOCOLATE. NICE COMPLEXITY AND A LONG FINISH.
