  • Acquired from my dear friends at 750 Wine, this Trousseau Gris is special - the vineyard, the only source of TG in all of CA, is across the street from me. And I made a barrel this year.
I also met the winemaker last week, Scott, such a great guy.

Skin fermented for ~ a week (good call).

The color is clear, with s slight orange, peach skin hue.
The nose shows orange blossom, citrus peel, spice.
In the mouth the wine has an excellent balance of fruit, acidity, and weight.
White peach, tart pear, tangerine, with a mouth watering lingering finish.

You won't blind taste this as anything you know so don't try.
Tiny production - buy where you see it when next released.

  • Beautiful peach-skin color. Fruity, crisp, tart and only slightly acidic. Really delicious to drink on its own or with a light poultry dish.

  • Hugely interesting nose of tangerine, gardenia, crushed stone, peach and a hint of petrichor. Nice dense mouthfeel with some more crushed stone, pear skin, lower acidity and great length.
