  • Plum, spice, soil. Finish a bit short. Decent mouth feel. Not bad for <$20

  • Ruby red in color (lighter than dark). Nose is full of bright red fruits (no dark brooding wet earth in this one). The mouthfeel is lightweight with fruit touching off right away and mellow in the mid-palate with a pretty finish of about 30 seconds or so. Easy on the tannins. The acidity is low to mid. A very nice bottle that would probably pair very well with a light fish (grilled halibut, sea bass, poached whitefish, etc..) I liked it but didn't love it at the price it goes for. I would drink it again for certain but probably would buy others at this range.

  • 2 Days in the Valley- Day 2 (Willamette Valley, OR): Nose: Nice and fragrant nose with tones of red fruits, berries, strawberries, wild spices, and some potpurri. It is wound up a bit tight right now, but does show some nice depth to it.

Taste: Medium bodied with tart medium+ acidity. The tones of red fruits, berries, strawberries, and potpurri are very pretty with a roundness on the palate.

Overall: This just needs some time to fully come around. Still, even with its youth, there is a real pretty quality to this that is enjoyable.
