From 75cl screwcap, decanted 1 hour. Lovely red-cherry/raspberry perfume; unbalanced palate with violent acidity punking the present fruit in an unpleasant way. Drink up. 88P

From 75cl screwcap. P+P, which was a mistake. Some CO2 spritz which took 30 minutes to bubble out completely. After 1 hour just like my TN from 12.10.2018. I recommend decanting 1 hour in advance. Seems to be in great shape, no hurry. 89-90P

From 75cl screwcap, decanted 45 minutes. My 4th bottle, and the first fully enjoyable one. Ripe, well-balanced, forward NZ PN on the red fruit side, with excellent balance, a lovely velvety texture, some unexpected earthy-mushroom-like aromas and just the slightest hint of soy sauce. None of the disjointed, brash acidity I noted in my previous 2 bottles (can this really be the same wine?) On this showing, just edging into maturity, with perhaps 5 years hedonistic pleasure to go. 89-90P

From 75cl screwcap, opened 1 hour, improved over one further hour. Medium-bodied, brashly acidic, red-fruited NZ PN with adequate sweetness but non-integrated, messy balance. Much better on its own than with food; thus the antithesis to an equivalently expensive villages Côtes de Nuits from a decent producer. It all depends what you are looking for; I think my Pegasus Bay phase is over. Drink up. 88-89P

Spicy dark cherried fruit in a bed of damp earth, forest, tobacco and silty earthy tannin. Brooding and dense, but elegant at the same time. Great balance and a lovely Pinot
