Lemon, toast, with floral notes. Crisp acidity gives good tension with the , if a touch heavy, oak toast, and hints of reduction. Finish is modest, but has enough energy to make it interesting.

2011 Burgundy Anniversary Tasting (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Light yellow. Floral with perhaps a little more toasty oak than I find ideal in Chassagne. Medium weight, crisp citrus with good acidity for the vintage. Average length and finish.
